Another Incredible Journey

In mid-November, Jim and I made another trip to Utah. We stopped to videotape Uncle Dale and Aunt Maurine as they recounted stories from their life. What a great experience! We went on to Provo to watch Jacob and Cami participate in the DanceSport competitions at BYU. Jacob danced in the international Latin competitions in the novice and pre-champ divisions. He danced the samba, rumba, and cha cha with Tatiana. They were amazing to watch! They were cut on the last round of the semi-finals in the novice competition. Jacob and his other partner placed 7th in the paso doble competition with his Latin dance class. We were impressed!

Cami looked and danced beautifully in a cha cha competition with her ballroom dance class.
We visited with the Collins family and hiked up Rock Canyon during breaks in the competitions. Rock Canyon was beautiful! I enjoyed listening to Jim reminisce of the experiences in his youth when he camped and explored in the canyon.

Jim enjoyed attending church with Jacob and I with Cami. After church, we stopped at the care center to visit with Grandma Wilson who smiled and giggled when she saw us. She was in a great mood and we had a good visit. We were greeted with a surprise birthday party for Jim when we stopped for lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Cannon in Morgan. Margy and Eldon, Pat, Angie and their kids were there to celebrate with us. It was good to see all of them. We felt very loved.
