Vic and Deidra invited us to spend the Fourth of July with them at their cabin in Placerville. We appreciated the chance to escape from the maddening crowd and enjoy a piece of heaven.
We explored their property on ATVs and were fascinated by the sights we encountered.
We watched a spectacular firework display put on by the Placerville fire department from the front porch.

Yes, Dad took all the photos. I got up early in the morning. I went for a walk with the camera. The weather was beautiful and the scenery picturesque.
