Continuing the Colorado reunion saga.... Nephew Clayton fixed crepes for breakfast. They were fabulous!
Where are we going today?
After some miscommunication, a little misdirection and lots of tension we finally located the gathering spot on
Granby Lake.
It was cool and cloudy but brave members of the family donned swimming suits and swam in the cold water or caught the meager rays on the beach.
I think I spent most of our short stay climbing up and down the trail to retrieve one thing or another from the car. Jim, Cami and Matthew went on a bicycle ride. We had a picnic on the beach but had to scramble to get everything loaded back into the cars before the threatening storm descended. Tired, after a night with little sleep, and resigned to the fact that this was not going to be the most restful experience, I enjoyed the view and the chance to be with family.
